Hong San See Temple is an impressive Chinese temple built between 1908 and 1913 in the honour of Guang Ze Zun Wang – the God of Fortune. The axial planning, courtyards, walled enclosures, and beam-frame structure here are all conventional features of the Chinese style temples. Furthermore, the granite columns exhibit meticulously-carved dragons, peonies, magpies, and phoenixes.
