Kandy Esala Perahera 2018
Also known as the Festival of the Tooth, Kandy Esala Perahera is one of the oldest and grandest Buddhist festivals in Sri Lanka, celebrated annually at the palace of Kandy called Dalada Maligawa. The festival parade lasts for ten days and amazes with many traditional local dances such as Kandyan dances, fire dances, and various other cultural dances, a large number of caparisoned tuskers and interesting drum performances.
